Slightly longer than 2 weeks, and she is still not finished although she has been on festival tour for the last few weeks and has received great attention and brought much joy upon all who have encountered her. cakes have never had so much fun!

After weeks of research, sketches and assembling a fine skilled team the new project is well under way. Saturday 3d modelling and pattern drawing session reveals serious technical challenges, (that bit we already knew its just all been confirmed!) this is going to be one very interesting project.

These seemingly abstract looking objects have been developed By recent RCA graduate Simon Bond, through a series of rigourously tested prototypes using a piece of software he developed they are intended to simulate natural behaviour during communication. Congratulations Mr bond.

At last, some order from the chaos of the last couple of weeks away. Pica Pica was well received in Italy and is now back after its first exhibition at the 2010 Milan Furniture Fair. Hendzel + Hunt are currently collaborating with Puff and Flock textile designers as part of a project for Designers block at Interiors NEC in January 2010. The collaboration is aiming to change Ercol design pieces with an experimental approach to traditional furniture making. Below shows the UK based Ercol factory.
